To communicate the trugh, voice your opinion about management, short staffing, the lack of equipment, the poor condition of our vehicles, the lack of funding that the state legislators are lacking to fund the hard working State Employees, Correctional Officers. Thats why this November Vote for Terry Goddar his the Next Governor thats going to help and back our State Correctional Officers.. Last edited Mon, 24 May 2010, 7:41pm by Morey Control |

FIRST OF ALL, it's Goddard. Wow. You support a guy whose name you don't know. Secondly, Mr. Union, I nor anyone else should vote for a candidate based on something so insignificant as what he'll do for DOC. Yeah, it's my job, but holy crap dude. There are so many issues that affect ALL citizens, and we aren't so above them as to disregard the policies of a candidate that will have effect on them just because we want to be comfortable in our precious jobs. Or, if you want to think so, say it. I dare you to put your name on that and send it in the press. If we care about our jobs (that everyone here is complaining about) then we should vote for a candidate who we want in office and then let them hear our voice. I also should advise you that it is not a good idea to extend yourself into making political suggestions or recommendations on candidates. To even register a union member to vote is a sensitive area, how far past that have you gone with the emails telling us what candidate "cares" and what party "cares" and who you're voting for and why? Not in Union capacity, no sir. |
