SPRINGERVILLE, Ariz. -- CBS 5 News has learned fugitives John McCluskey and Casslyn Welch, his cousin and fiancee, have been caught and are in the custody of U.S. Marshals
.
Marshals said they caught the couple in Springerville, Ariz., Thurday night.
Apache County Park Service found a car with stolen New Mexico plates at a campground in the area. They took the couple into custody without incident, marshalls said.
The two are being held at Apache County Jail.
The last credible sighting of McCluskey Welch was in Montana. Welch is accused of helping McCluskey and two other inmates escape from the state prison in Kingman, Ariz., on July 31.
